Speakers

Dr. Ann Van Esch
Medical Physicist

Ann is a physicist by profession. She studied physics at the Univers. of Leuven, Belgium. In 1998, after a PhD in solid state physics, she applied successfully for a grant in radiotherapy physics.
This gave her the opportunity to help in the development of new treatment techniques. She was also active in the evolution of portal dosimetry.
In 2004 Ann co-founded 7Sigma, an organization that aims to assist in the development and implementation of new treatment techniques in radiotherapy.
As can be seen on the Website of 7Sigma, she is still active in research and development and she is able to combine her clinical experience with actual knowledge for the support of hospitals and radiotherapy departments.
