PTW Ready To Share FLASH Dosimetry Expertise at FRPT 2025

PTW is attending the 5^th Flash Radiotherapy and Particle Therapy Conference (FRPT 2025), taking place in Prague, Czech Republic, from 10-12 December 2025. The event is bringing together leading researchers, clinicians and professionals from industry, clinical oncology and the academic world to explore the latest advancements in both FLASH radiotherapy and particle therapy.

Meet PTW’s experts and experience flashDiamond

PTW’s team of experts will be part of the three immersive days of discussions, lectures and presentations, outlining the company’s expertise in FLASH dosimetry. The PTW team will also showcase flashDiamond, the new single crystal diamond detector for FLASH dosimetry.

Up until now, commercially available detectors for conventional radiotherapy have not proven suitable for FLASH dosimetry due to recombination, saturation or nonlinearity effects. Developed in cooperation with the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, the new PTW flashDiamond detector uses the same technology as the well-established microDiamond detector and has been optimized to meet the specific demands of FLASH radiation.
